Student & Educator Support
Building the next generation of makers. While we have transitioned to an online-only model, our commitment to students remains. We offer a 10% discount on wood, hand tools, epoxy, and consumables to help offset the cost of learning the craft.
To access your student discount, please contact us with a copy of your current, valid Student ID. We are currently developing a streamlined verification portal to make this process instant, but for now, a quick email gets the job done.

Professional & Tax-Exempt Accounts
Running a business is hard enough; paying unnecessary taxes shouldn't make it harder. If you operate a professional shop with a valid Sales & Use Tax License, you can purchase your production materials (lumber, finishes, epoxy) tax-free.
How to set up your Pro Account:
- Submit Your Documentation: Email a digital copy of your valid Sales & Use Tax license to our support team.
- Account Verification: We will flag your customer account as tax-exempt for all qualifying resale materials.
- Shop with Confidence: Once verified, your orders will automatically reflect your tax-exempt status at checkout.
Virginia State Organizations (SWaM)
Norfolk Wood Shop is SWaM certified and registered with eVa. We are fully licensed to fulfill procurement requests for Virginia state organizations, schools, and municipalities. Please reach out via our contact page for formal quotes and PO processing.

All promotions and discounts offered by Norfolk Wood Shop are subject to the following terms:
- Availability: Valid while supplies last. We reserve the right to end promotions at any time.
- Non-Transferable: Discounts have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for gift cards or store credit.
- Usage: Limit one coupon code per transaction. Discounts cannot be "stacked" unless explicitly stated.
- Returns: Refunds for returned items will be issued for the amount paid (the discounted price), not the MSRP.
