The cutting action of the helical cutterhead slices at an angle to the workpiece. This allows for shearing cuts, minimized tearout, a smoother finish, and operating at lower noise levels. This results in less time sanding your stock and more time planning your projects. The 36 indexable carbide insert cutters can each be rotated three times to expose new, sharp cutting edges.

The G0495X features precise parallelogram table adjustment with easy-to-reach handwheels. With this setup, you get more opportunity for fine adjustment thanks to the four points of contact of the infeed and outfeed tables. Not to be forgotten, the full bed length measures 83" for cutting long and absolutely straight edges.

Achieving accurate and consistent cuts is crucial in woodworking. The heavy-duty center-mounted fence with its rack-and-pinion adjustment plays a significant role in making this possible. It has fence stops at 45, 90, and 135 degrees for quickly and easily setting the fence to common angles without having to measure and adjust the fence each time.

Also, this is the first jointer in the industry to feature a digital height readout. It greatly enhances the precision, efficiency, and accuracy of your cuts.
