Ever wondered what it takes to create a fractal burn on wood and fill it with your own epoxy design? Now is your chance to find out. Join us for a class led by local craftsman, Keith Holder of keefiswood.com, to learn how to make your own fractal burn charcuterie board!
Each student will be provided with a handled pecan or walnut charcuterie board for the burning process. Each board will be sanded to 80 grit for best results. Keith will lead the class on the ins and outs of fractal burning, and each student will have the opportunity to design their own fractal burn pattern. Afterward, each student will get to choose their own epoxy pigment colors, and fill the grooves created by the fractal burning process- Creating their own unique piece!
This event has two pricing tiers. One option consists of Keith taking your boards back to his shop and sanding and finishing them with Grand Finishes Hardwax Oil, then returning them to Norfolk Wood Shop for pickup. If you'd rather take your board home and sand and finish it yourself, there is another option at a reduced price.
Each ticket includes: instruction time with Keith Holder of keefiswood.com; your own board, one drink ticket per attendee, and all materials needed for the class.
