Ever wanted to try your hand at handcut dovetail joinery? Or tried out handcut dovetail joinery before and looking to perfect your craft? Then this is the class for you! On June 8th join Curtis Hause of Hause Woodworks in our Handcut Dovetail Joinery class. Over the course of a few hours, Curtis will teach students the basics of using a handsaw and chisels to cut traditional dovetail joinery. Curtis will demonstrate and then guide students through the whole process of dovetailing from the layout, sawing, chiseling, and fine tuning for a perfect fit. After this class you'll be ready to use dovetails in your own future woodworking projects!
There are two ticket options for this event. One ticket includes all the tools you would need for this class which are then yours to keep. We're offering this dovetail tool bundle at about 30% less than if all tools were purchased individually. The other ticket does not include tools and you would be expected to bring your own. If you need some but not all of the tools, we are also selling the same tools in store. We can even bring them to the class if you don't have time to get them from us! Just please get in contact with us and let us know.
Tools required for this class: Dovetail Hand Saw, Chisel (ideally 1/2"), Marking Knife, Combination Square (ideally 12"), and Mallet.
